Week-by-week results
[edit]Should we have week-by-week subpages on this page, such as 2005 NFL season, Week 1 to show weekly scores and major news events? CrazyC83 16:26, 11 September 2005 (UTC)
- All I know is that I personally would not work on any such subpage because I am wary of the systemic bias it would cause in relation to all of the other NFL seasons articles. I was also thinking about putting current NFL scores and news on Wikinews because nobody seems to be doing anything there on the NFL, but I have not gotten around to do that. Could we have, like, information of events as they progress through the season (like who does good and who does bad at what parts of the season and what records are set, things like that?) I think that would be a good idea. bob rulz 05:51, 18 October 2005 (UTC)
- Looks like many users are already doing that -- on most of the NFL team articles. Zzyzx11 (Talk) 06:32, 18 October 2005 (UTC)

Challenges
[edit]I'm pretty damn sure that the extra challenge rule was added this year. I never remember seeing it or hearing about it last year and this year the announcers have frequently stated how you can now have a third challenge if the first two are successful. bob rulz 06:06, 18 October 2005 (UTC)
- I added the source of the 2004 rule changes to the 2004 NFL season page. But I will reprint the quote here:
- On March 30 -- hours after league owners approved a five-year extension of instant replay, adding a third coaches' challenge if the first two are successful -- the NFL succeeded in a federal appeals court in New York. [1]
- Zzyzx11 (Talk) 06:35, 18 October 2005 (UTC)
- That's odd. I don't know why the announcers would waste so much time talking about the rule (as in, pretty much every time they throw the red flag) if it isn't actually a new rule. bob rulz 06:45, 18 October 2005 (UTC)
Playoff Boxes
[edit]Is it possible, instead of using different shades of orange (which doesn't show up well on my computer) and different colors for the confrences, instead that both AFC and NFC have similar colors, such as red is Home field, yellow 1st Round Bye, Green For Divison, Blue for Playoff Spot, and White for Needs Help? -SAS- 18 Dec 2005 5:57PM EDT
- I fixed the colors, except I did not read your suggestion as carefully... Zzyzx11 (Talk) 00:18, 19 December 2005 (UTC)
