If the Bentley's speed 8's engine is...

[edit]

If the Bentley's speed 8's engine is really a Bentley instead of an Audi, then, why don't you change the information on its Wiki page? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bentley_Speed_8

Because it's not my job, nor is that article on my watchlist? Why don't you change it if it is in error? Should I also point out that the article text specifically talks about the engine being sourced from Audi yet modified? Or that the 2001 and 2002 articles also specify the engine is a Bentley? Or how about taking the time to look up some real sources instead of changing things and then telling other people to confirm their reverts of your edits? There, done. Top Speed during race?

[edit]

Can anybody add the source for the top speed of the qualifying? It would also be great to add the top speed during actual race, no? Thanks, Endurance1988 (talk) 06:41, 3 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

1. Prose Lead

Background and regulation changes

Automatic entries

  • As entries were pre-selected to teams - As entries were designated for teams, or as entries were pre-selected by teams, whichever is accurate
  • they - change to "the teams," because the preceding clause modifies the subject (they makes it seem like entries is the subject)
  • Last 2 sentences of paragraph start with Audi - one thing you could do is simply add However to the start of the 2nd sentence

Entry list

  • composed the field with 22 different makes - composed the field, representing 22 different makes - wording's just a little awkward the way it is now.
  • wanted the field to be heterogeneousness, "This - wanted the field to be heterogeneous. "This
  • Is Cosson's quote a translation? If so, try this instead - This is certainly not the right solution for the 24 Hours. We can only agree with our decisions, and we do not appreciate the people who spit in the soup. We will remember them.
