1998-99 Maryland Terrapins men's basketball team → 1998–99 Maryland Terrapins men's basketball team –
- Per WP:MOS, this should be an en dash, not a hyphen. Jrcla2 (talk) 21:10, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- Normally I would completely agree, but there is a currently an ArbCom injunction prohibiting moves to/from a hyohen/dash. Personally, I'm not objecting to the move, as I think the injunction is over-reaching, but it is unlikely that an admin will perform this move, lest they be dragged to WP:AE. - Support: Everybody agrees on this point at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style/dash drafting. –CWenger (^ • @) 15:31, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
- Support Have no problem with moving the article; didn't notice the hyphen until after article was created. I'm still pretty new to this - what is SOP here? Should I just move the article myself or does someone need to do it for me? Duttler (talk) 01:14, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
- You won't be able to move the page since it has a history longer than the creation of the redirect. When a move is proposed in this format we typically wait for an admin to determine the consensus and act accordingly. –CWenger (^ • @) 01:21, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
