Countries affected

[edit]

I think that simply listing the countries affected in the appropriate section in the article is insufficiently informative, especially in comparison with the corresponding section in the 2006 Southeast Asian haze article, in which a brief write-up is given under the names of affected countries. I would expand the section myself except that I don't remember the 1997 haze, being only 1 year old at the time. 218.186.9.6 09:29, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think this is really weird. Is the server having a lag or something? When I saved the page after making the edit above and went back to the article by clicking the 'article' link, the 'discussion' link still appeared as a red link. When I clicked on the link, though, the normal editing screen appeared instead of the "We don't have an article called xxx...but you can write it!" one. What is going on?? 218.186.9.6 09:32, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Fixed. Never mind. 218.186.9.6 09:44, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Anyway, I'll try to expand it what little I can (adding one pitiful sentence about the PSI readings in Sept '97 under the Singapore subheading), but I can't really do any more. 218.186.9.3 07:59, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

NOAA satellite image

[edit]

Anyone got a higher-resolution version? Originally uploaded as a low-res thumb, but NOAA images are not fair use but rather public domain. Please find a high-res version. – Chacor 08:21, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
