Quagmire? Torrential downpour?
[edit]I object to the fact that the terms aren't content neutral, and there is no cite. USC has been complaining about the field conditions in 1967 for years, but you can find gamefilm, showing that it wasn't that wet. Also, OJ ran for 188 yards. Was he good enough to do that "on a quagmire in a torrential downpour?" The simple fact is that USC got beat by one of the best Oregon State teams ever, the Giant Killers.
