- expansion, date, hook, qpq, close paraphrase check works out. However, I'd suggest to slightly reword the hook for readibility, how about ALT1 ... that Lucien Laurent scored the first goal in FIFA World Cup history during the inaugural game of Group 1 of the 1930 World Cup? @Kosack: --Soman (talk) 22:36, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Soman: Sure, I'm happy with that. Working the Group title into the hook was a little tricky. Kosack (talk) 11:31, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Soman: Courtesy ping in case you missed the first one. Kosack (talk) 07:19, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
- Ok, ok, tick reaffirmed (Am I allowed to tick my own ALT1?...) --Soman (talk) 18:09, 2 February 2023 (UTC)

FIFA links are not correct
[edit]FIFA changed its webpage, so all the Sport links are now dead. I found them on wayback machine, however I don't know how to put thos links, because if I just use Template:Webarchive it will be so long with all the unneccesary texts like 'Report at the Wayback Machine (archived December 2, 2022)'. What is the best solution? (BTW this is the link: [1] Simy (talk) 11:29, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
