Cornelius Vanderbilt et al.
[edit]Does anyone know where transportation tycoon Cornelius Vanderbilt and his family was at the time of the tornado? We know they may have still been connected to New Brunswick as late as the mid-1830s, because Catherine Juliette Vanderbilt might have been born there in 1836, but the Vanderbilts had also begotten kids on Staten Island in the 1830s. The newspaper account of the 1835 tornado doesn't mention anyone named Vanderbilt. 68.37.254.48 (talk) 19:42, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
