Founding of modern Singapore and 1819 Singapore Treaty → 1819 Singapore Treaty – Per WP:AND and talkpage discussion on Talk:Founding years of modern Singapore. General consensus (though small) reached on page move. - Justanothersgwikieditor looks like the talk page has become disconnected from the article somehow? -Kj cheetham (talk) 11:14, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
- I note Talk:Founding years of modern Singapore though, which is making me think this needs a proper WP:RM as per WP:PCM. -Kj cheetham (talk) 11:16, 1 March 2023 (UTC)

- Comment : The move history is slightly complicated but the final intent is to have 2 distinct articles, Founding years of modern Singapore and 1819 Singapore Treaty. The former covering the history of Singapore from 1819 to 1826 when Stamford Raffles signed the 1819 Singapore Treaty up to the formation of Straits Settlements (inclusive of Singapore) in 1826. The latter article will covers a brief history leading to the 1819 Singapore Treaty, the details of the Treaty and the subsequent anniversaries celebrated. --Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 01:32, 2 March 2023 (UTC)
