- Comment: I hope people aren't tiring of my Missouri Confederate unit DYK noms. There have been many, and there will likely be many more to come. Some of these, such as this one, plumb the depths of obscurity.

- Hi Hog Farm, review follows: article created 15 June; article exceeds minimum length; article is well written and cited inline throughout to reliable sources; all sources are offline so AGF on non overly close paraphrasing; I've struck ALT1 as I didn't find it interesting (it's not uncommon for regiments to change names); ALT0 is interesting, mentioned in the article and backed up by the source; I think the wording of ALT0 could be tightened a little and propose ALT2 below for consideration by the hook promoter (I've piped out the Confederate disambiguater as the affiliation is confirmed by "Confederate States Army" later in the hook); a QPQ has been carried out. Another great article and I, for one, am not tired of them! - Dumelow (talk) 07:01, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
- ALT2: .. that more men died while serving in the 16th Missouri Infantry Regiment than any other Missouri unit of the Confederate States Army?
