I've just spent two hours trying to 'wikify' this article. although parts are interesting, it is extremely long!!! And, it has no references. I suspect, through the writing style, that it is actually excerpts from a regimental history book, rather than being written for Wikipedia. I urge that proper references be provided, or this page be removed. If references are given, then the next step is to edit for conciseness and to establish just how much info is enough info in an encyclopedia. Right now this is a book, and a non-neutral one at that.
