Table problem
[edit]The current section that is transcluded into the article--History of close approaches of large near-Earth objects since 1908--included not only History but also projections of future close approaches. This may be a good idea, or not; we can set that aside for now.
But since it DOES include future close approaches as it is in the table now, it seems really odd to be missing the close approach of 1994_PC1 swinging by Earth in the coming day.
It is inconsistent to not show the future approach of 1994_PC1, but show a bunch of asteroids that are projected to swing by in the coming decades. N2e (talk) 15:56, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
- It does show the closer 1933 approach. You do know the list is not all inclusive as the last edit was in 2018? Between 1900-2200, "5,502" asteroids with H<18 have nominally passed (or will pass) within 5LD of Earth. 4,402 of those approaches are past tense. -- Kheider (talk) 18:00, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
