As much as I love the "Dam Son" meme, I actually think it was proven that the child in that yearbook photo is not the same as Đàm Thanh Sơn. At the very least, the meme section should state that it is an alleged attribution, and likely a coincidence since Đàm Thanh Sơn is probably the most famous person with the name "Dam Son." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.162.123.162 (talk) 05:12, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
This is obviously someone else. He grew up in North Vietnam, and if they had a yearbook at all at his elementary school it would write his name in Vietnamese with full diacritical marks. DHN (talk) 17:09, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
