My trip to Cicarovce

In 2004 my husband and I took a European trip with my daughter and son in law. One of the most important stops we made was a trip to Csicser where my Grandfather and Grandmother were from. My Grandfather was John Haluska. We visited the graveyard and looked for any Haluska grave markings, but did not find any. I was sad at heart, for I wished my mother could have seen this beautiful little town where her parents came from. The people where nice, but could not understand why we came so far to this little town. I am glad I got to share this part of my heritage with one of my children. a memory I will never forget. Thank you people of Csicser.
