Shahrak-e Taleqani (Persian: شهرك طالقاني)[a] was a village in Tashan-e Sharqi Rural District[b] of Tashan District, Behbahan County, Khuzestan province, Iran.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 211 in 47 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 271 people in 67 households.[2]

In July 2013, the village of Mashhad merged with the villages of Ablesh, Chahardahi-ye Asgar, Chahardahi-ye Sohrab, Deh-e Ebrahim, Kalgeh Zar, Masiri, Shahrak-e Taleqani, and Tall Kohneh to form the new city of Tashan.[6]
