Sangar District (Persian: بخش سنگر) is in Rasht County, Gilan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Sangar.[3]

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 57,478 in 15,954 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 58,969 people in 18,610 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 57,303 inhabitants in 19,319 households.[2]
