Bala Mahalleh-ye Gafsheh (Persian: بالامحله گفشه)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Gafsheh-ye Lasht-e Nesha Rural District of Lasht-e Nesha District, Rasht County, Gilan province, Iran.[4]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,771 in 500 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,558 people in 536 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,533 people in 508 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
