[edit]

Routine Of Nepal Banda (RONB) was launched on 2011 by a student who had just completed his grade 10 examination (SLC examination).[3] During that time due to political instabilities there were regular national shutdowns due to protests and strikes. At that time young Victor Poudel started a Facebook page to provide the public information about national shutdowns. The page grew and RONB started to post the schedules for loadshedding and other useful information. RONB started to upload national and international news. RONB’s followers grew exponentially in 2015 after the earthquake, when hundreds of thousands of families spent months in tents and found the Facebook site a prompt and credible resource readily available on their mobiles. Similarly it got another boost during the lock down due to COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, Bibek Mishra, Sirjan Dulal, Rajesh Poudel, Pujan Sharma, Ram Chhetri, Paras Chhetri, Aryan Sigdel, Niraj Patel, Prateek Bhatta are core members of RONB.[3]
