• 2011 - Typhoon Muifa (pictured) reaches its maximum intensity as a Category 5 with 10-minute winds of 175 km/h (110 mph).
• 2015 - Cyclone Komen makes landfall over in Bangladesh which worsened the 2015 Myanmar floods.
