- The bodies of two Turkish pilots of a F-4 Phantom jet shot down by Syria on 22 June 2012 are recovered in the Mediterranean Sea. (CNN)

- France's Bureau of Investigation and Analysis issues its final report on the crash of Air France Flight 447, determining that a series of errors by pilots and a failure to react to technical problems led to the disaster that killed all 228 people on board. (CNN)
