"Poisoned Arrow" is a song recorded by Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. It was first released as part of the band's eleventh studio album Deceivers on 12 August 2022, and later released as a single alongside a music video as the seventh and final single from the album. The music video for "Poisoned Arrow" premiered on 9 February 2023.[1]
Background
[edit]"Poisoned Arrow" was the last Arch Enemy single and video featuring long-time guitarist Jeff Loomis, as on 30 December 2023 it was announced that he had resigned from the band and his position would be filled by Joey Concepcion.[2]
The track features cello performed by Raphael Liebermann, who the band discovered through a cover challenge they hosted on their Instagram account.
