"Dream Stealer" is a song recorded by Swedish melodic death metal band Arch Enemy. It was released worldwide as a single on 31 July 2024 via digital download and streaming as a standalone single, and it was later revealed that "Dream Stealer" would be the first track of the upcoming Arch Enemy album Blood Dynasty.
Background
[edit]On 31 July 2024, nearly two years after their previous album Deceivers, Arch Enemy surprise released a new single "Dream Stealer".[1] The track was originally a standalone single as the new album Blood Dynasty had not yet been announced. "Dream Stealer" was performed on the band's Rising from the North tour (with co-headliner In Flames and special guest Soilwork, and the album was announced on the day of the second show of the tour.[2]
"Dream Stealer" is the first Arch Enemy track to feature new guitarist Joey Concepcion, following Jeff Loomis' departure from the band at the end of 2023.
