Nowghan-e Olya (Persian: نوغان عليا)[a] was a village in Karchambu-ye Shomali Rural District of Buin Miandasht District, Faridan County, Isfahan province, Iran.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 91 in 28 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 72 people in 26 households.[2]

After the census, the district separated from the county in the establishment of Buin Miandasht County. The rural district was transferred to the new Karchambu District. Nowghan-e Sofla merged with Nowghan-e Olya and changed its name to Nowghan.[5]
