Michael Ted Evans (born September 16, 1975) is an American politician. He is a former member of the Mississippi House of Representatives from the 45th District, being first elected in 2011 as a member of the Democratic party and serving till 2024.[1][2][3]

In 2018, Evans ran for the United States House of Representatives from Mississippi's 3rd congressional district.[4] He lost to Michael Guest.[5]

In January 2020, he left the Democratic Party and became an independent.[6]
