Luca Allam (born November 10, 1982) is a British entrepreneur, podcast host, and media professional. He currently serves as the CEO of PHD MENA, a global media agency operating in the Middle East and North Africa. Allam is known for his contributions to the advertising and media industries, as well as for hosting the podcast The Insight Track.

Early Life and Education

Luca Allam was born in London, England, to Italian and Lebanese parents. During his childhood, he lived in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, attending Tonbridge School, where he studied English, History, and Spanish at A-level. He later earned a Master’s degree in Marketing and Advertising from the University of Leeds, which laid the foundation for his career in media and business.

Career

In 2010, Allam joined PHD, a global media agency, as part of its Dubai office. Over the next 13 years, he played a significant role in expanding the agency's operations in the MENA region, reportedly increasing its revenue tenfold. In 2021, he was recognized by Communicate magazine as one of the "Top 30 Leaders in Media."

In 2023, PHD MENA was named the fastest-growing media agency in the region by RECMA, with Allam’s leadership contributing to the agency's success. Under his direction, PHD also won multiple awards at The MENA Effies for effective advertising campaigns. In 2024, he was promoted to CEO of PHD MENA by its parent company, Omnicom Media Group.

Beyond his role at PHD, Allam has served as a consultant for AI and technology firms, including Mawdoo3 Group and Next Broadcast Media, focusing on market positioning and strategic growth. He is also a regular speaker at industry events, sharing insights on media trends and innovation.
