Live at The Gorge '24 is a live album by Australian-rock band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, released digitally on 17 September 2024 on Bandcamp.[1] It compiles the band's three three-hour marathon show at The Gorge Amphitheatre in Grant County, Washington on 14 September 2024.[2] This is also the last show of the first leg of the band's 2024 US tour.
Background
[edit]In line with other 2024 live albums by the band, it was released through their bootlegging platform and with its stems and a soundboard recording released through Dropbox, with an encouragement that the album be mixed and pressed by independent labels.[3] The tracks come from sixteen of the band's albums:

Show interruptions
[edit]Midway through "Venusian 1", the show was stopped after the barrier collapsed; during the pause, Joey Walker called his mother, and Stu Mackenzie and Walker sung part of the 2014 song "Vegemite". After "Gaia", the show was briefly paused again during "The Great Chain Of Being" and being unfinished.[citation needed]
