The sloop foundered in the North Sea 12 leagues (36 nautical miles (67 km) east of Texel , North Holland . Her four crew were rescued by General Jackson ( United States ). Jonge Frederica was on a voyage from Drontheim , Norway, to Amsterdam , North Holland.[ 4]
