Braylon Ja'Rae Jackson, known professionally as Lana Ja'Rae (born May 7, 2002),[1] is an American drag performer competing on the upcoming seventeenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race (2025).
Early life
[edit]Braylon Ja'Rae Jackson was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He started his drag persona in Oklahoma.[2][3] While in high school, Jackson portrayed Miss Trunchbull in a production of Matilda the Musical.[4]
Personal life
[edit]They are currently based in New York City.[5] Their "drag mother" is season 15 alumni Luxx Noir London.[6] They are additionally an open supporter of the Ali Forney Center.[7] She cites her drag inspiration to be Naomi Campbell.[4]
