Kerarj Rural District (Persian: دهستان كرارج)[3] is in the Central District of Isfahan County, Isfahan province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Dashti.[5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 29,032 in 7,453 households.[6] There were 33,809 inhabitants in 9,593 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 25,287 in 7,619 households. The most populous of its 46 villages was Esfehanak, with 4,414 people.[2]
