Jalin Conyers is an American football tight end for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. He previously played for the Arizona State Sun Devils and for the Oklahoma Sooners.
Early life and high school
[edit]Conyers attended Gruver High School located in Gruver, Texas. Coming out of high school, Conyers was rated as a four-star recruit, where he decided to commit to play college football for the Oklahoma Sooners.[1][2]
College career

[edit]In Conyers first collegiate season in 2020, he did not appear in any games for the Oklahoma Sooners.[3] After just one season with the Sooners, Conyers decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[4][5]
Arizona State
[edit]Conyers decided to transfer to play for the Arizona State Sun Devils.[6][7] During Conyers three year career at Arizona State from 2021 through 2023, he appeared in 34 games primarily as a tight end, where he hauled in 74 receptions for 846 yards and six touchdowns, while also adding 92 yards and a touchdown on the ground, and 20 passing yards.[8][9][10][11] However, Conyers did make one start at quarterback for the Red Raiders in a week eleven win over the UCLA Bruins.[12] After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Conyers decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[13][14]
Texas Tech
[edit]Conyers decided to transfer to play for the Texas Tech Red Raiders.[15][16] In Conyers first game as a Red Raider in weeek one of the 2024 season, he hauled in a touchdown rcepetion as he helped Texas Tech to a win over the Abilene Christian Wildcats.[17] In week four, Conyers rushed for a three-yard touchdown, as he helped the Red Raiders to a win over his former team, the Arizona State Sun Devils.[18]
