Needs more L

To me it sounds like there is not enough emphasis in the L-like part of the sound, it sounds too much like ya instead of lya --TiagoTiago (talk) 01:50, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. And I'm a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker who uses that sound in an everyday basis with words having <lh>. I'd actually say that your first attempt to reproduce the sound (the first version of the sound clip) was the correct way to pronounce it. And it is misleading to have a sound clip reproducing something a lot closer to a [j] as the pronunciation example in the [ʎ] article page. -- Krystoffer (talk) 04:06, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
