Faryab (Persian: فارياب)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Faryab Rural District of the Central District of Rudan County, Hormozgan province, Iran.[4] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Bikah,[5] now a city.[6]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,526 in 309 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 993 people in 252 households.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,146 people in 334 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
