Farhadabad (Persian: فرهاداباد)[a] was a village in, and the former capital of, Mirbag-e Shomali Rural District of the Central District, Delfan County, Lorestan province, Iran.[4] The capital of the rural district has been transferred to Masumabad.[5]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,568 in 321 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,648 people in 359 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,635 people in 393 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]

In March 2022, Mirbag-e Jonubi and Mirbag-e Shomali Rural Districts were separated from the district in the establishment of Mirbag District.[8] Farhadabad merged with the village of Shahnabad to form the new village of Mirbag.[5]
