Esmailiyeh District (Persian: بخش اسماعیلیه) is in Ahvaz County, Khuzestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Safheh-ye Do.[3]
History
[edit]After the National Census of 2011, Esmailiyeh Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Esmailiyeh District, which was divided into two rural districts, including the new Esmailiyeh-ye Jonubi Rural District.[3]
