Eslamiyeh District (Persian: بخش اسلامیه) is in Ferdows County, South Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Eslamiyeh,[2] whose population at the time of the 2016 National Census was 7,108 in 2,193 households.[3]
History
[edit]In 2020, Baghestan and Borun Rural Districts, and the city of Eslamiyeh, were separated from the Central District in the formation of Eslamiyeh District. The village of Baghestan-e Olya was elevated to the status of a city as Baghestan.[2]
