Erie FC is a merger between the most established and well-known soccer clubs in the Erie metropolitan area: MSA Soccer and the Erie Admirals. This agreement united both clubs' rich histories and legacies to create a more substantial, unified presence in the region's soccer landscape. Co-owner Pedro Argáez, who previously owned Erie Admirals SC, played a pivotal role in this merger. The Admirals, under Argáez’s leadership, made an impressive impact on the national stage, reaching the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) final in their debut season in 2009.[1] This accomplishment cemented the club's reputation as a competitive force in U.S. soccer and contributed to the ambitions driving the formation of Erie FC.
