Reads like a resume

[edit]

So far this reads like a prose-ified resume/CV rather than an encyclopedia article. - Jmabel | Talk 23:13, 29 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your attention to my article! I will rewrite the text of the article into a "connected story", so that it does not look like a resume.
Regarding references: I collected media articles, as well as official documents of the highest level that are publicly available: presidential decree, information on the financial status of a member of Parliament, etc. Is the problem that the references are not in English? Unfortunately, the most links are not in English ;) Is it necessary to contact the member of Parliament so that he confirms the veracity of the information -- for instance, with an official letter to the Wikipedia administration? It's hard to do, but I can try. In that case, I need a rough example of a letter that a member of parliament should write. I once wrote a similar letter to a celebrity... Sources

[edit]

@SafariScribe: could you be more specific what you find to be wrong with the sources here, and what you would want to see instead? Just saying they are insufficient does not provide much guidance.

Please ping me when responding; I don't maintain a watchlist on en-wiki. - Jmabel | Talk 23:16, 29 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Jmabel, when we say that a draft is not properly sourced, it means two things: a) the available sources aren't reliable. b) some sections or parts of the draft aren't referenced properly. In this context, the "Education" section isn't referenced, same as "Previous employments" and "Teaching and Civic Activities, Media Experience". The award shown in the infobox wasn't talked in any other part of the draft, so I expect it should be referenced there i.e Order of Liberty (Ukraine). While it still appear as a written CV, it will be considered as WP:OR. Also, part of the achievement section isn't sourced. @Brandner should fix them before this draft will be accepted. Cheers! @SafariScribe: Thanks, that is much clearer and gives them something to work with. Especially for a relatively new user, just saying it isn't well enough sourced doesn't give them a lot of guidance as to what to work on. - Jmabel | Talk 19:35, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
