Yildiz Sethi (born August 12, 1952) is an Australian psychotherapist, educator and author. She is the founder of Rapid Core Healing, Emotional Mind Integration and Practical Trauma Informed Treatment.[1]
Early life and education
[edit]Sethi was born in Birmingham, England. She holds a B.Ed degree and in 2011, she earned a Master’s degree in Applied Social Sciences (Counselling) from Australian College of Applied Professions.[2]
Career
[edit]Sethi began her career as a medical lab technician, before she married and had two children. In her early 30’s she did higher education and become a physics and chemistry school teacher. She later became a Vedic astrologer in an attempt to understand what makes people tick.[2]
Sethi began her counselling career in 2000 and became a Clinical hypnotherapist in 2004.[2] Same year, she became an educator at the Australian College of Education.[2] In 2005, she trained in Family Constellations[3] and started holding Family Constellations workshops in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.[4]
In 2013, Sethi developed a new way of working called Emotional Mind Integration and in 2016, she created Rapid Core Healing.[5] She also created Practical Trauma Informed Treatment for Personal and Generational trauma recovery (PTIT:P&G).[6]
