Viaan Kapoor is a VFX artist and producer. He along with Nana Falgunrao Patole and Dharam Singh, co-founded Vedic Dharma Productions,[1] an Indian film company.
Early Life & Education
[edit]Viaan Kapoor’s family lived in the pre-partitioned Sindh, where they owned a diamond business established by his great-grandfather.[2] During the partition, Viaan’s family migrated to Bangalore, Karnataka. He was born in 1995, in Bangalore, where he spent most of his childhood and did his early education at Bishop Cotton Boys High School and Baldwin Boys High School.[3] He pursued a career in aviation by moving to South Africa and seeking pilot training. Simultaneously, he pursued a career in modeling and theater. He has worked with Yours Truly Group and Jagriti Theater[4]
Awards
[edit]Viaan Kapoor has won several awards, including the Asian Film Award for Outstanding Contribution to Asian Cinema, the Nielsen Box Office Star of Asia Award,[5] and the Global Award for Best Screenplay in South Asia.[6]
