Vaibhav Palhade was born in Akola, Maharashtra. From a young age, he developed an interest in filmmaking and literature.[3] Beyond his creative work, Palhade has made notable contributions to education, particularly in Rajasthan, where he has been recognized for his efforts to educate youth.[4] He has also conducted filmmaking workshops for students from underprivileged backgrounds, providing free access to valuable skills.[5]

Palhade made his debut in Indian cinema with the short film I'm Porous, known for its exploration of social themes.[6] In 2020, Palhade directed the short film Stay at Home. Created during the COVID-19 lockdown, the film addresses issues related to the pandemic. Actors filmed themselves at home while Palhade directed the project remotely via video call.[7]

In 2022, he directed the Marathi-language feature film 72 Rupayacha Paus, which received attention for its cultural impact and storytelling.[8] He is also working on the web series Curse of Bhadravati, set to release in 2025, which aims to blend Indian mythology with contemporary themes.[9]
