Ty Pinkins is an American politician and attorney. He is a candidate for the U.S. Senate to represent Mississippi in the 2024 election as a member of the Democratic Party.

Early life and education

Ty Pinkins was born in Rolling Fork, Mississippi. He served in the U.S. Army from 1996 to 2017.[1][2] Pinkins earned a bachelor's degree in political science and government from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2012.[3] He later obtained a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University in 2020 and a master's degree in national security law from Georgetown University in 2021.[4]

2024 Senate candidacy

In 2024, Pinkins announced his candidacy for the U.S. Senate to represent Mississippi. He is running as a member of the Democratic Party.[5]
