Trovador had 11 siblings (including 1 half-sister) and him and his 9 siblings were musicians, but 2 of his siblings died when one of them was sick & childbirth.

His religion was non-religilous because his parents were former aglipayan. Until when a religion called Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) or INC arrived in Zambales and His father, Herminio gave one of the land of his wife to INC to build a church. They had dinner with Lee's friends, and one of them, Unicorn Chan, informed Lee about Ramos' martial arts background. Bruce Lee invited Trovador to a friendly match at the gym, which Ramos initially refused out of respect for Lee. However, Lee insisted, and Trovador agreed. When the match began, Trovador defeated Bruce Lee, and the fight was stopped. Following this encounter, Bruce Lee and Trovador Ramos became friends. Bruce Lee later invited Trovador to participate in his movie "Enter the Dragon," but Ramos declined upon learning he would be cast as a villain. A few months later, Lee offered him a main role in a new movie titled "The Rhythm Man and the Dragon." Unfortunately, Bruce Lee passed away on July 20, 1973, before the project could be realized.
