Dr. Toula Gordillo is an Australian clinical and Jungian psychologist, educator, author, and researcher with over thirty years of experience in private practice, schools, and corporate settings. She holds undergraduate degrees in psychology, arts, and education, a Master's in Clinical Psychology, and a Doctorate in Creative Arts (Creative Writing). Dr. Gordillo is the originator of Story Image Therapy (SIT®) and SIT Shadow Work™, therapeutic frameworks that integrate storytelling and symbolic imagery to address mental health challenges.

Dr. Gordillo has worked extensively with Indigenous and non-Indigenous children, youth, and families, providing training and counseling in Story Image Therapy. She has been involved in developing training programs following the Carmody Report (2013), funded by Child Safety Services and doctoral research. Her professional experience includes roles as a Clinical Psychologist at New Beginnings - Psychological, Educational/Developmental, and Hypnotherapy Services, and as a Guidance Officer Intensive Behaviour Support (GOIBS) with Education Queensland and Independent Schools Queensland.
