Draft:The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de grâce)
An editor has marked this as a promising draft and requests that, should it go unedited for six months, G13 deletion be postponed, either by making a dummy/minor edit to the page, or by improving and submitting it for review. Last edited by Citation bot (talk | contribs) 5 months ago. (Update) |
Submission declined on 27 April 2024 by SafariScribe (talk). I am declining this as a case of TOOSOON. Likewise deletion discussions where the article is said to meet WP:TOO SOON, there is only an option or rather the next consensus, draftification. Since that's the reason, this should remain a draft until it is released and significantly covered.

"The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de grâce)" is the upcoming twelfth studio album by American rapper Eminem, expected to be released through Shady, Aftermath and Interscope sometime in summer of 2024..[1]
Background
[edit]The album was first hinted by Dr. Dre in early 2024, who, in an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live! stated Eminem was working on an album to be released sometime that year[2]. Soon after, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Slim Shady LP, Eminem sold merch and uploaded videos of the skits on the album to his Twitter account. Several fans speculated that the album would be a sequel to this album, due to it being the 25th anniversary[3]. On April 25, for the opening of the NFL draft, Eminem appeared with several others and "Not Afraid" was played[4]. Later that night, a trailer for the album was released on Eminem's YouTube channel, featuring Jimmy Kimmel and 50 Cent. The trailer acts as a True Crime trailer, displaying Slim Shady killed[5]
