Terence "Terry" Enright (1969 – 11 January 1998) was a Gaelic football player for Gort na Móna GAC and an anti-sectarian activist who was murdered by members of the Loyalist Volunteer Force at a nightclub he worked at in January 1998.

On 11 January 1998 Enright who worked as a doorman for the Space Nightclub on Talbot Street in Belfast. At around 4.11 pm two members of the Loyalist Volunteer Force, Stephen Warnock and a unidentified man fatally shot Enright twice at the entrance to Space.[1][2][3]

The LVF claimed they killed Enright in reprisal for the assassination of Billy Wright in 1997.[4][5]

Legacy

On January 14, Enright would be buried in the Belfast City Cemetery, his funeral would be the biggest since the funeral of Bobby Sands, having around up to 10,000 in attendance. Ten days later on January 24, a plaque would be installed next to the St. Talbot Street.[6]

Gort na Móna would name their pitch, Páirc Mhic Ionnrachtaigh (Enright Park) in honor of him.[7][8]

In April 2002 Enright's family established the Terry Enright Foundation.
