The Ten Hour Takeover, also known as Radio 1's Ten Hour Takeover is a yearly interactive British Radio Show that is broadcast around the Easter bank holiday on BBC Radio 1. The show revolves around the Listeners choosing the playlist all day which means that anything within reason can be played on Radio 1, although a majority of request are already in rotation in the regular Radio 1 Playlist. Most requests are Pop Music, Rock Music, Rap Music and Electronic music based with the edition of Novelty Records and Classic songs, some of which haven't been played on Radio 1 for Decades.
