Tales at the Corner (Chinese: 轉角浣紗街) is an original TV series produced by Viu Original in Hong Kong.[1]. This romantic comedy has a total of 10 episodes, 10 minutes each. It premiered on Viu on November 24, 2023. Following the Viu Original series, #lovesignal, it once again cooperated with Local Production Ltd[2] and directed by Judy Chu, the director of the movie, "Sunshine of My Life"[3].
Starring Renci Yeung, Ng Siu Hin, Yanny Chan, Kathy Yuen and Angus Yeung, there are also guest appearance by a number of actors including Kaki Sham, Ching Yan Fu Rik, Dolma Tara, Tsang Lok Tung, Kiki Cheung and Dickson Yu[4]
Synopsis
[edit]In Joyce’s small cafe on Wun Sha Street, daily tales of romance are unfolded. A ‘Coffee and Friends’ C&F membership means customers can get randomly paired with a fellow stranger, served with one of Joyce’s specialty brews catered to the occasion, a unique catalyst for sparks between the singles gathered at our local coffee shop.

[edit]On November 23, 2023, a day before the premiere of the series, Viu held a screening event at Premiere Elements Cinema in Elements Mall[5]. The series' director Judy Chu and actors Renci Yeung, Ng Siu Hin, Yanny Chan, Angus Yeung, and Tsang Lok Tung were all in attendance.
