The S.R.C (Sydney running club) was founded in 1891 by Jake William Howard on the 9 of December. It was formed by Jake Howard because he wanted to encourage running in Sydney due to the fast food starting up in Sydney. As the running club started to gain some massive popularity Fast food began to go downhill in profits due to the profit free running club.
The S.R.C shut down in 2022 due to covid 19, and Jake Howard passed away on the 1952.
