From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Suzanne Rath[1] (b. 1984, Ireland) is an Australian-based executive health coach, speaker, and author, known for her work in health and wellness coaching, with a background in physiotherapy.

Early Life and Education

[edit]

Rath graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2006 with a degree in physiotherapy, later earning a Master’s in Sport and Exercise Medicine from the same institution in 2010.

Career

[edit]

After moving to Australia in 2012, Rath experienced a life-changing accident in 2013 when she was struck by a car while cycling, resulting in severe injuries and undiagnosed post-concussion syndrome. She spent nearly two years recovering from symptoms of fatigue, cognitive issues, and anxiety. Drawing on self-management techniques and her medical knowledge, she was able to manage her symptoms and gradually regain her health. This experience motivated her to advocate for holistic health and resilience in others.

Wellness Embodied

[edit]

In 2017, Rath founded Wellness Embodied[2], initially working as a sole practitioner in a single-room clinic in Cairns, Queensland. Through her leadership, the practice has expanded to include two locations in Cairns and one in Cooktown, staffed by a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals. Wellness Embodied has gained recognition for its client-centered approach to health care.
