Spreelands ( SPR-e-lans) is an online game platform and game creation system that allows users to program and play games created by themselves or other users. Created in 2022 and released in 2024 by Iceables and DasherDev. For most of Spreelands' history, it was relatively small as a platform.

Spreelands is free to play, with in-game purchases available through a virtual currency called Credits.

Spreelands allows players to create their own games using its proprietary engine, Spreelands Development Tool, which can then be played by other users.

Spreelands allows players to buy, sell, and create virtual items which can be used to decorate their virtual character that serves as their avatar on the platform.

History

2021-2021

The idea of Spreelands was thought of a food shop and then in 2022 it was made as a idea of a online video game.

2022-2023

Spreelands was officially established and then the website was being developed throughout 2023 and 2024.

2023-present

On Janurary 4th 2024, Spreelands bought the domain spreelands.net and was in alpha for a while.
