Solange Tuyishime Keita was born in East Africa. She survived war and genocide at the age of 11, becoming a refugee during her early childhood years. Her experiences during this period shaped her resolve to dedicate her life to improving the world.
After relocating to Canada, Solange completed her education at École Sainte-Anne in Fredericton, New Brunswick. She earned a scholarship to St. Thomas University, where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Honours in French. Solange won the title of Miss New Brunswick in 2005, which led to her winning the title of Miss Canada International in 2006. Following her reign as Miss Canada, Solange used her Miss Canada scholarship to complete a Master's in Public Administration.

[edit]Solange Tuyishime Keita is the founder, President & CEO of Elevate International, a global platform committed to:

Solange has had the honour of representing Canada in pageantry on numerous occasions, winning the titles of Miss Canada Galaxy, Ms. Galaxy International, and Mrs. Canada, which led to her finishing in the Top 5 at Mrs. Universe (with 80 plus countries) and becoming the First Runner-Up at Mrs. World.
She later placed among the Top 10 at Miss Universe Canada, where she was recognized with several awards, including:
